I'm reflexively kind, and perpetually curious. I
view each day as a blessing and an adventure and I
can't wait to see what tomorrow brings. I'm
generally a happy person, and am pretty good at
finding the silver lining on those rare occasions
that clouds may appear.
I think everyone is *Email Blocked* is a woman
that I used to work with who was awesome at making
cakes. This woman makes cakes like nothing I've
ever had before. That is her little slice of
awesomeness.
My little slice of awesomeness is (I'd guess) my
ability to fix things. Whether it's a computer, a
car, a washing machine, or a piece of industrial
equipment, I just have a knack for finding the
problem and fixing it. Tell me your slice of
awesomeness!

I enjoy a wide range of activities including
hiking, photography, learning new things,
exploring new places and meeting new people. From
an early age I had the desire to be able to
perform a wide range of actions competently. I
later found a quote by Robert Heinlein that sums
it up quite nicely.
'A human being should be able to change a diaper,
plan an invasion, butcher a hog, conn a ship,
design a building, write a sonnet, balance
accounts, build a wall, set a bone, comfort the
dying, take orders, give orders, cooperate, act
alone, solve equations, analyze a new problem,
pitch manure, program a computer, cook a tasty
meal, fight efficiently, die gallantly.
Specialization is for insects.'
I don't consider that an exhaustive list, by the
way, there is always more to learn! I think it's
fair to say that the church teaches that we are
here to learn, among other things.
