Maybe I should start this out with Hey...I am
wonderful and you have no idea what you are
missing. :)
Hi! Looking for new friends and if I find my
eternal partner in the process, well, I won't be
disappointed. I am honest, trustworthy, fun to be
with, peaceful and calm always.
I've made my share of mistakes in my life and now
am looking for my celestial partner. I know that
you are out there somewhere...you just got lost
along the way, or maybe it was me that got lost.
:) I am convert to the church, but have been on
that spiritual quest all of my life. I want
someone to share that with, the studies, life
plans, prayer, sitting with in church...all the
things that Heavenly Father intended for us to do
together. I want nothing less than what Heavenly
Father wants for me. SO>>>>WHERE ARE
YOU? and where have you been? Tell me about you
and see if we are headed in the same direction. I
have been with the church a little over a year now
and will be able to go for my endowments the 24th
of May. This is definitely a little outdated. I
received my endowment on dec 18, 2004. What an
experience!
Love either the country or the city life, both
have their advantages, and have spent many years
in both settings. Am very comfortable wherever I
am.
I meet no strangers, as I feel we all have
something in common....beginning with Heavenly
Father. I have moments when I am shy, but for the
most part will carry on a conversation with ease
in any setting.
I have 2 wonderful children: son/Eric/25 this July
and a daughter/Shelley/23 this July. I also have
a beautiful granddaughter/Shelby/5 this July. We
also have a new addition, another granddaughter,
born Dec 12, 2004, named Ale' (Alley), short for
Alexandria. This poor child is going to have fun
just learning to spell her name. She has 28
letters in her full name.
My marriage lasted 25 yrs, then we took a 2 yr
separation that finally ended in divorce, but we
are still very good friends. How can you not be
with kids, grandbaby and living together all those
years. I have been divorced since May 2002.
I started school again in August 2004, majoring in
a medical field, with some background in
accounting, fitness, health, and nutrition and
also with arts and crafts. I design clothing as
well. Most likely will continue with radiology
school within the next year.
As for friends...I always want friends. As for
that elusive eternal partner. I know what I am
looking for. While my life here on earth means
much to me as far as daily life goes, my spiritual
being comes first and foremost. I know that
Heavenly Father has a plan for me. I was given a
calling within 2 weeks of baptism with the 7 &
8 yr olds. I enjoyed that calling but only had it
for 4 months as I was moving from Arkansas to
Colorado. The Bishop has already told me he will
be finding me a spot. That spot has now been
found. I am 1st counselor for the Young Women in
our ward. I have since stepped down from this
calling as my schedule and family are requiring
most of my attention these days. What a schedule
I keep! :)
I am excited about the future and what it holds
for me.
"You?" I need someone stronger than I
am in faith or at least someone who wants to be
stronger in their faith. I have a strong faith,
and constantly want to learn more. I want
"you" to be of strong standing in the
priesthood or at least striving to be there.
"You" would be one that attends church
regularly, enjoys family time on Monday evenings
as well as other times during the week, and of
course, date night.
"You" will enjoy pampering me, as I
would pamper you as well. HUGS are important as
well. While I am very independent, I love my
doors opened by a gentleman, I love flowers and
gifts. BUT, I am also very frugal, so flowers
that are picked or even bought from Walmart are
great.
I love cuddling, on the couch or by the fire. I
love star gazing and moonlit walks, walking on the
beach, or just sitting listening to soft music. I
am most likely a hopeless romantic looking for
something that doesn't exist out there...but then
I ask myself "why would Heavenly Father give
me these feelings and desires and no one else have
them as well".
So, I have poured my heart out here, set it on the
line. Tell me you don't exist and that
"you" are only that prince in my dreams.
Please don't be afraid to say hello, as nothing
is written in concrete. I am a very intense
person with much more to share than what is here.
Ask, learn, share......then who knows.

This is a list that could go on forever. READING
and RESEARCH; POETRY...I like to write and read;
MUSIC....is it possible to even live without
music. I have a wide variety of taste in music,
as long as it is music.(rap doesn't count as music
to me)....
WALKING; staying active. I do like to watch
MOVIES & some SITCOMS, DOCUMENTARIES. Love to
watch Ice Skating, Dinner theater...walking on the
beach, hiking trails; just looking at the stars at
night; sightseeing; historical places; museums:
art, history, & science, looking at the
mountains, the scenery that God has made. I love
to constantly learn new things. I do like to
have quiet time at home and relax, music playing,
playing games, visiting and talking. With this
said, I should also add that I am no couch potato.
I really like to be on the go, doing something,
accomplishing something.
Camping is fun, volleyball, basketball. I do like
watching some sports but it's not an all the time
thing and would rather actually be at the game.
I've only fished a handful of times, but would
like to learn more.
Classic cars....I love car shows and plan to own
one again someday(my first car was a 66 Mustang)
Thought maybe I should add that I was married to
and worked with a mechanic for 25 yrs and know a
little about older cars. I can change the oil,
transmission fluid, do a tuneup, change tires, fix
flats...and no I do not want to do that
anymore(jack of all trades/ace of none) We did
restore a 67 mustang once upon a time. I still
have that hot rod syndrome and a lead foot...but
thankfully along with that has come a built in
radar as well....only 2 tickets in my life and
under 10 miles over the speed limit...also not a
ticket since 1984...
Antiques....my dad got me hooked, but still have
much to learn; geneology..just began October 2003
with this. With my background this is proving to
be quite an interesting and challenging
journey.
I am sure there is much more.....but then you do
need to learn things about me later. Please don't
be afraid to write, as I will answer all
inquiries.
