I am outgoing, love to laugh and love the Church -
they all work together well. I am hoping to find
someone as devoted to their faith, their family
and their future eternal companion as I am.
I am fit and active, love music, reading, cooking,
baking, movies, travel and spending time with
those I love. I am 38 and have a 10 year old
daughter, and would love yours as my own as
well.
I'm a convert, and my relationship with Heavenly
Father and serving in the church are so important
to me. I am taking the temple prep classes now,
and plan to take out my endowments soon, and would
like to meet someone who is as clear about the
importance of the temple and the church.
Honestly and ideally, I am looking for an eternal
companion and a temple marriage - aren't we all.
If you are looking for the same, then I would love
to hear from you. I realize that Hawaii is far
from the mainland, but I would like to think there
is a brother out there that would move for the
right reasons, and I might be willing to do the
same too.
Happy Holidays - in Hawaiian: Mele Kalikimaka and
Hauoli Makahiki Hou (that's Merry Christmas and
Happy New Year!). Amy

Lots! And lots are island-life specific, however -
I grew up on the mainland US and love to ski,
camp, etc. just as much as I love to swim, hike,
bake, read, travel and serve in my church and
spending time with my daughter. Living in Hawaii,
water sports are a huge part of life for me. I am
a competitive swimmer and have been my whole life,
I love being in the water - honestly I feel closer
to Heavenly Father in the ocean/at the beach,
really anywhere in nature. I like to run too - but
I am not very fast, no land legs perhaps!
I guess you could say that I am really into health
and fitness, was a vegetarian (my whole life) but
have converted and eat meat now! Big change for me
in the last year. So, I am no longer afraid of
carnivores and have cooked for many - no, it does
not gross me out at all. I was raised (literally)
by hippies, and they just did not eat animals.
However, I saw the light, joined the church and
have a much deeper understanding of
life/purpose/divinity/eternity - but just never
picked up the taste for cheeseburgers. I don't
mind making them or being around people who
consume...Also, I love to bake, and its best if I
have someone to bake for...I really miss that,
someone to do things for. It is kind of boring
just taking care of self, it would be nice to have
someone to do something for.
I like simple things, movies, listening to music,
eating out/*Email Blocked* date: pizza, talking,
rent a movie? I am happiest when with the people I
love, after that, its all good. Life is so short,
I have come to know that and believe it deeply,
cherish those you love, and let them know they
matter to you.
The Geography Issue: Oh - I know Hawaii is waaaaay
out there in the Pacific, but I don't think
distance is a deal-breaker, I choose to be shaped
by, not defined by, my circumstances - and am open
to travel, for the right person and the right
reasons, hopefully you would be too.
Take care - me ke aloha pumehana.
