Here we are...online dating. Never thought I'd do this, but I guess I'm now receptive to the process [yeah, we all have our long stories]. Candidly, I sort of realized at a certain point, that when I'm in a healthy relationship---I actually am happier. (And no, I did not see THAT coming!) Thusly, I'd like to connect with the right person. SO...let's be clear, these profiles are awkward to a degree (naturally, they are sort of personal "sales brochures"); if you want to know who I am, let's start a conversation. Look, it would be real easy to overthink LDSpals and the many agendas at play...but, we are simply grown folks desirous to unfold the next chapter. • I am a "glass is ALL full" person...because, air counts too. In other words, even in disappointment, there are aspects to be grateful for..make the best you can out of everything. • A beautiful face is common; the rarity is a beautiful soul. Pretty is great; but it won't carry a relationship. • I am looking for perceptive intelligence---as I am really tired of ex-girlfriends contacting me to say in retrospect that I was the best boyfriend they ever had. Geez!!! I want a lady who can see depth and appreciate it. • Drama tends to be the adult form of getting attention; and I generally diagnose it as such. • Loving a person you don't like, is a recipe for disaster. Passion and chemistry have their place for sure; but LIKE somebody genuinely before investing emotion. • I hate snakes. Always have. I don't get why people keep 'em as pets. ;) • If placed in a choice between honor and being a doormat, I'll always go with doing the honorable thing; even if it crashes Paradise. I'm easy going---I rarely sweat the trivial stuff, but I have a backbone. • Make me laugh! Humor is a HUGE plus. A lot of life is absurd anyway, and a grin about it all is a great tonic for whatever comes one's way. • It is impossible to compete with ghosts and movie star fantasies. Value me as a sincere, real guy...or keep on fishing. • Be...INTERESTING!
