I am a faithful latter day saint woman. I have a right lower leg amputation and use a wheelchair. While this presents some challenges, I am quite independent and live on my own. I am essentially retired, a widow and do not have children. My greatest desire is to return to God at the end of my earthly sojourn. All that I endeavor to do is toward that end. I study the gospel, and strive to understand the atonement by word and deed. I love my Savior, Jesus Christ. I have a firm testimony that Joseph Smith was and is a prophet. The Book of Mormon, one of my greatest treasures, is literally the word of God. The church of Jesus Christ of latter-day saints is the Lord's church and kingdom on the earth. It is my desire to meet someone who one is striving as I am, whose greatest desire is to return to Heavenly Father with honor. I am open to relocating if I meet the right someone. Starting friendship, allow time to take its course. I am glad that I am a daughter of God, because I thoroughly enjoy girlie things. I'm appropriately affectionate, and love to laugh and kid. I also enjoy sacred times, such as praying with a partner, partaking of the sacrament and temple worship. My favorite hymn is #85. My favorite Bible verse is "Come unto me all ye that labor and I will give you rest..." And Bk of Mormon verses are Mosiah 24:12-16.

Reading, especially commentaries and biographies. Singing. Writing and journaling. Crafts including scrapbooking, wreath making, and handmade greeting cards. Cooking, baking and bread making. Flowers and gardening. Travel. Genealogy and temple attendance. Film, and live theatre. Symphony music. Interior Design. I love the beach, the desert and the mountains, because there is something beautiful to be found wherever you go. I love the adventure, called mortality. There is just one to a customer, so I strive to Live my Life, to fullest, even with the challenge that a wheelchair can present. I have found that if its important to me, with ingenuity and forethought, there is very little that I can't do, otherwise God wouldn't have required my limb. Evidently my missions in life do not require both limbs, so I don't limit myself.
