As I understand it, I am supposed to write you a
short, but thrilling piece, good enough to make
you want to know if I'm worth it.
No pressure.
30 minutes later, I'm still staring at this
screen. For the life of me, I don't know where to
start. I'm not a marketer. The problem is, I'm
looking for a certain kind of person. I want a
woman that likes to laugh, and live life, and
talk; a woman who savours the hell out of a cup of
coffee and laughs hardest at the simplest jokes. I
just don't know what to say to make that kind of
person think I am worth it.
Do I keep it short and simple or do I inject an
element of "mystery"? Should I be my
usual outwardly straightforward self or should I
be my inwardly carefree and romantic self. Perhaps
subconsciously I've already made that decision. I
don't know which one it is, but I guess we'll see.
All my life I've been a giver
. I learned a long time ago, that the shortest
route to one's happiness was to give. Give people
their health, their hope, their laughter, their
sanity...and even their food, and you will be
happier for it. And so, all my life, I've been
happy, in the only way I know how to be. Lately,
however, I've wondered if there isn't another kind
of happiness to be had. The kind that emanates
from the bond you share with someone you can call
your own, the person to whom you turn to when
something funny pops up on TV, the person whose
happiness matters more than your own.Perhaps I've
been selfish. I've not been a giver because I love
to help people. I've been a giver because giving
people what they need has made me happy thus far.
I guess the crucial question is this; Is there
someone out there whose happiness will matter more
to me than my own? It's what I'm here to find out

Currently, I do try to exercise at least three to
four times a week. Staying healthy by eating
healthy foods and exercising is important to me.
I really like eating at home trying to minimized
the fast food restaurant that is so convenient to
fall into is some what difficult. I do the home
cooking and having BBQ meals in the Summer is my
favorite time of the year. The Vallarta meats for
BBQ-ing are my specialties- I got their secret
recipe ingredients. Every time I am the chef, I
find that there are always left overs for family
and friends to take to their home. This is my
little trick so I get to do less cleaning since
this stuff is being taken away.
