There was a girl.
There was a boy.
If they had met they might have found a world of
joy,
But he lived on the morning side of the
mountain,
And she lived on the twilight side of the hill.
They never met; they never kissed.
They'll never know what happiness they missed,
'Cause he lived on the morning side of the
mountain,
And she lived on the twilight side of the hill.
(Lots of lyrics I'm leaving out of the song)
And you and I are just like they.
For all we know, our love is just a kiss away,
But you are on the morning side of the
mountain,
And I am on the twilight side of the hill.
I don't know when that song was written, but it
seems to me that this is a way for the two to find
each other and finally meet.

Working on it
I love that this came with that as the default. It
is the truth. I'm working on my interests and
hobbies.
I do love music. It has always been important in
my life, but I no longer play in a band or
orchestra. Sometimes I miss it, but I thoroughly
enjoy seeing my children enjoying their bands and
orchestras. Once upon a time I had music playing
in the background 90% of the time or more. Now I
find that I enjoy moments of quiet, but I still
love to listen. I'm rather eclectic when it comes
to music--I like some of just about everything,
from Edvard Grieg to Enigma to Karen Carpenter to
Eurythmics to Faith Hill to Queen to Hap Palmer to
Mercy River.
I rather enjoy reading. Books are my drug of
choice. It's a way to escape reality for just a
little while, and I have discovered that most
books worth reading have some application to or
insight into my life and where I need to be going.
I like to learn about new things and learn new
things about what I already know. I love to learn
about people. I like to know what makes them tick.
Maybe that's why I have recently discovered a love
for family history.
