My name is Austin; I served a LDS mission to Samoa and Hawaii. As well I have been in the Marine Infantry now for six years. Crazy to think how fast time has flown by. But, I currently in the process of transferring into the Air Force. This is due to the fact I tore my knee last February conducting a combat training in the mountains here in Utah. In addition to my military duties, I am going to Utah Valley University studying Aviation Science. I am working full time as an armed security guard for the government protecting a secretive site. If I tell you any more, I might just have to kill you. 😉 But that is to pay for my flight training. As you can tell I am fairly busy, hence why I am on this site.
I am in the process of updating my profile. I didn't do anything fun or photo worthy while I was recovering from my surgery. I recently just returned to doing stuff again. But I am extremely loyal and honest. Some qualities that I try to live by is to be humble and kind. A trait that some people don't recognize about me is how sincere of a person I am. And sometimes it can be taken as me being rude. And a fun fact about me is that I survived a motorcycle crash on the interstate last year with only burns. This knee injury that I had caused me to lose my physical prowess. I am so happy to be getting back in shape. I love the burning feeling one receives from exercise. One of my favorite workouts is swimming. And I recently just started doing yoga to help stretch out my knee and help the inflammation go down.

I really enjoy anything with a gun and being outside. I love to swim and bike. But lately when I am not doing school work or at work I can be found up in the sky in an airplane.
