Love is indeed a many a splendored thing. When it is given and returned, it enriches both the lover and the beloved. And as long as two people love each other nothing in the world is too difficult or too impossible, for wanting to do something for the one you love takes all the burden out of it, and the roughtest way becomes smooth when you can travel it hand in hand.

How can you expect to glide naively though this life as if to say "Lord give me experiences, but not grief, not sorrow, not pain, not opposition, not betrayal, and certainly not to be forsaken. Keep from me, Lord, all those experiences which made Thee who Thou art! Then let me come and dwell with Thee and fully share Thy joy!"
