My Introduction: |
Hi. I do not know why I am doing this, but thought I would try. I am not sure exactly what to put here at this time. I have been browsing around on some profiles to see what has been put, so will give it a try. I was born and raised in Northern California where I was converted just before graduating with my BS degree (and Institute . . . I almost graduated before being baptized). I continued living in the Sacramento area until I changed jobs and start working here in Utah County. I used to be a shy person and still can be in some circumstances, but most see me as very outgoing. I try to always have a good sense of humor . . . afterall, if we cannot laugh at our selves . . . I really enjoy serving others and talking to others about the Church and other things. Teaching is quite a bit of fun too . . . even have taught some classes at BYU. I enjoy being around people with similar interests and great values & standards. If you are interested in what I have to say, please feel free to send me a message. |
My Interests and Hobbies: |
I think my introduction starting spilling over in this area. Ooops, I enjoy doing so many things. Again, this will probably spill into the "Church Callings and Other Service" category as they are so closely tied (as you may see). I really enjoy serving others, anything outdoors/water/wind, SCUBA, sailing, skiing, camping, bicycling, meeting people, talking, teaching, etc.. I am a certified SCUBA instructor. I occasionally teach sailing, have taught a couple of Youth Management / Recreation Leadership classes, and an Information Technology seminar class all at BYU. I have also taught Family History classes both at BYU as well as at a multi-stake family history fair. I have even had the opportunity to be in a couple of Church films (a documentary that is playing on Temple Square and three others that are in some other Visitors' Centers). I really dislike shaving, but usually do as I really do not like all that hair. Especially for the Temple Square, I had to grow my hair and beard out. I will not post that as I know some really hate that kind of look. It defintally makes me look quite a bit older in my opinion. I definitally feel quite young. I enjoy being a gentleman, being open, honest. I do not like mind games and am not a typical guy. I actually like cooking and shopping. I enjoy traveling especially if it has to do with Temples, SCUBA, family, family history, or meeting people. However, again I am not the typical traveler. Okay, I think that will do for now here. |
