The Good:
I’m the guy that is nearly immediately liked. I’ll make you laugh. I’ll usually be louder and crazier than most. I’m a great listener. I’m a good friend. I’ve spent time sorting out my life and am eager to work on what comes next. I’m a decent cook. I can sing pretty well. I love acting and I’m pretty darn good. I’m easy to talk to, to have fun with, and to trust. I’m honest, open, confident, and lovable. Remember that guy your mom said you should have married? That’s me!

The Bad:
I’m a drama teacher; actually I’m great teacher, but that means my income isn’t phenomenal, even though my time with these kids is above and beyond. I live in Yuma Arizona, which means I’m at least 3 hours from everyone. I’m not the tallest man alive, and I wish science could give me a pill to fix that. Times of stress and heartbreak have left me with more of a keg than a six-pack; I’m working on that, but we all know it takes time. My family tells me I’m too picky; that’s probably true; beauty’s just different for me (I love freckles.) While I’ve got enormous dreams and plans, working on all of them at the same time means I’ve only got a few of them finished; that’s harsh on myself, but true.

The Gospel:
Nothing’s more important. It’s not just what I do on weekends. It is how I live my life. I’m not perfect; in fact I may be repenting too often. But I have a relationship with my Father than I believe is sacred. I just finished the Discourses of President Hinkley, volume 1, and am reading volume 2. I’m reading the D&C and am teaching gospel doctrine. I read the Book of Mormon twice last year, and I’ll read it at least once this year.

One last note: I’ll be spending my summer with family in West Jordan.
