Hello everyone,
I was a convert, but I have been a member most of my life. I had been married to a wonderful woman for 45 years. She passed away this last April of cancer. She was my jewel. When we were married my father in law told me, "you have worked hard to make a wife out of your sweetheart now work just as hard to make a sweetheart out of your wife." I have tried to live by that advice, and will continue to do so. I always opened the doors for her most of the time. Especially when we went on a date together. We raised eight children together. Five boys and three girls. They are all on their own now , none at home. I spent 20 years in the Air Force and am now retired.

I like working on the computer, and playing games on it. I also like to hunt and fish. I hope to do some fishing with my sister. I hope to do some traveling to see the Church historical sites, and also to see the Book of Mormon lands to the south. I also hope to someday see Jerusalem. I like model airplanes. One of my goals will be to try to get a pilot's license. That will be difficult for me. I also hope to go on a mission someday, us older guys cannot do that without a wife. In fact there's not much that a man can do in the church without that special someone.
