Looking at my intro, I found it extremely corney,
So here goes another.
In 2001, The Lord found it fit to give me a wake
up call. Triple bypass.(Yes it is hereditary)
At the time of the heart attack, I was getting
burned out as a firefighter/paramedic.
While in the hospital, a nurse came into the room
while I was praying. She gave me the book of
Mormon. Having been to the church in my child
hood, I took the book and read it. After reading
Alma, I prayed and the Spirit flooded the hospital
room. I found the church is true and that Joseph
Smith was the true profit.
To this day I find the many blessings the Lord has
presented us all. The gift of life and prayer.
Right now I find myself with alot more energy and
doing many things the docs tell me not to.Like
chasing the kids with snowballs. Lifting the kids
on my shoulders while going for walks.
And many more things that the doc would scream at
me for.(It is good to be loved. LOL)
I was blessed with three kids, The Holy Spirit,
aswell as past and future callings.
The Lord is our True Salvation.
(Thought I would bare this testimony as not too
many tell)
I am happy to add that After three years, I am
back into firefighting. Heavenly Father has
blessed me with yet another gift. Thye ability to
show people that after major health problems one
can live a meaningful and full life.
Even though I am but a lowly volunteer
firefighter, I can honestly say, service for
others is a wonderful feeling paid back in smiles.

I enjoy all of the little miracles supplied to us
all.
I love chasing firef;ies on a warm summers
night.
I love sitting in the woods watching the new born
life of spring.
I love laying on the ground, watching clouds
gently lumbering over head.
I love watching the clouds pass over the moon.
I love sunsets.
I love the sounds of frogs after a good rain.
I love the smell of the air after a good thunder
storm.
I love rainbows.
I love watching the kids sleep.(The time when all
kids are at their best behavior) LOL
Hope this is enough. LOL
