I am striving to pursue the God-like characteristics associated with the pure love of Christ and hope to find someone with the same goal in life. Striving for spirituality is a goal and I like to read the scriptures, pray, fast, write in my journal, and attend church and temple. I believe that having faith in and loving God by striving to keep His commandments and repenting is important for progression. Also taking covenants seriously (eternal commitment) and striving to live up to them has to be the priority in two individuals lives in order for a marriage to be on a firm foundation. I believe I feel at peace in my life because of my efforts in striving to stay close to God and I acknowledge that without him I would not be here and would not have accomplished what I have in my life. He is my strength to get through the trials of today and my hope for a better tomorrow. We need to strive to have the gifts of the spirit which include as Paul said, love, peace, and joy, and which can only be obtained if we strive to go forward with faith in God and strive daily to sincerely repent of our sins. Then we will qualify for His atonement, be forgiven and receive His mercy and grace (Mosiah 4). My 6 year old son is the joy of my life. I often wish I could have more children especially if they were all like him. I grew up on a farm in Alberta Canada and learned about the fruits that come from hard work. I have a PhD degree and I work for an international sugarbeet seed company as a research agronomist and travel occasionally to the US, Canada and sometimes Europe. I just want someone to love passionately and to be loved passionately in return.

I own an acreage in rural Idaho and enjoy gardening, hiking/camping/fishing, photography, ballroom dancing, cross country/downhill skiing, cycling, and jogging for exercise. I enjoy talk radio and keeping up with current events. I do minor maintenance on my home and keep busy with church related activities. I also like to go to garage sales and live within my means.
