President Kimball said to DO IT. I try to follow
his example. I don't often sit idle. I am an
action person. I feel as though if I am not doing
something I just might start growing mildew behind
the ears. (Living in the Pacific Northwest, this
is always a possibility anyhow. Hey, my car gets
that darn green stuff growing in places that you
wouldn't believe.)
Do you truly love the gospel, have a strong
testimony, honor your Priesthood and appreciate
the worth of a woman? Plain and simple...this is
such a big part of the Eternal Plan. We need to
remember that we are of infinite worth. I know
that I am a daughter of my Heavenly Father and
want to be treated as such.
I want to hang out with someone who likes to have
FUN, is loving, and doesn't mind showing his
affection for a woman. I think that we are all
here for a divine purpose and one of them is to
have an Eternal companion. If you agree with
this, then why are we afraid to take the first
step? If we are not emtionally available then
what are we doing on singles websites? Why are we
afraid to let someone know that you might be
interested in getting to know them? What is the
worse thing that can happen? A friendship? - that
isn't so bad, is it?
I was blessed with two great kids. My oldest
graduated from high school in 2006 and is going to
college in Seattle. As an incoming freshman, he
was selected as the lead jazz band drummer-COOL!
My youngest just started first grade and is a
pistol. She has quit an infectious laugh and loves
new challenges. She and I enjoy playing games
(most of which she can beat me. I don't know if
that tells you something about her or about
me...hmmmm....) We love playing dolls, having tea
parties, going for walks, and cooking/baking
together.

I believe in living the gospel standards. They are
called standards for a reason. I love the Lord and
I am trying to live a righteous life. I believe
that this is the key - righteousness, not
perfection. I value my temple recommend and
whether I am able to attend frequently or not I
know that it is important that I stay worthy of
the temple blessings.
I love music and have played the piano since I was
six years old. I play an upright piano that is
over 100 years old. My home is filled with music.
My son is an avid musician and wants to attend BYU
and continue this passion after his mission.
I love to doing just about any craftly. Don't
worry - I am not a scrapbooker so I don't have
glue and little bits of paper all around my house.
Nothing against those who scrapbook, but I still
don't understand why people do it. I enjoy sewing
and can whip up anything from curtains to pajamas
in a split second. I enjoy the challenge of
making something two dimensional into three.
I love to cook and bake. Growing up in the
Southwest I have a pretty good idea how authentic
Mexican foods should taste. However, I have a
difficult time finding really good green chile.
The sacrifices that I have to make! Also, I love
to camp and fish. Yes, a girl that actually
enjoys fishing. Let's just say that I am a good
catch, no pun intended. I love the beach, jet
skiing, and boating. I suppose that anything near
the water is great.

something with an open heart, I usually make the
right decision." Maya Angelou
