I am a 54 year old US Navy vet and father of two awesome girls aged 12 and 13 years old. I live in Alberta, VA, and. I attend the Lawrenceville Branch. I teach middle school Civics and US History, and I love helping our youth become the best individuals they can become.

I am a big guy, so if you are looking for a skinny mini, move along...let's not waste our time. I am just fine with who I am. I enjoy being outdoors as well as staying in. I am very spontaneous - just jumping up and doing something "just because" - AND I enjoy planning activities to...depends on my mood. I am not someone who is looking for someone too far from my age...older or younger. Folks, I see no reason for a mid life crisis...I want someone with whom I can share 80's music, 70's music, know who the beatles are, and can get up an go. I want someone with whom I can communicate!

I have been a member of the church since 2009. I am a non-smoker, non-drinker, and have been for years. I enjoy the opportunities to serve in church. The opportunity to share the Gospel to others is awesome! I am very politically active in the Republican Party. I am the current Chairman of the county party, and I enjoy the opportunities to meet people and being active decision maker in the political process.

As I spend time with my daughters, I learn more and more about Heavenly Father's plan. I have a strong testimony of the fact that Heavenly Father will guide us through difficult times, and help us to follow the path he desires for us - IF we will read our scriptures and IF pray daily! As we strive to serve Him, the pieces of our lives come together, we obtain the things we need. It is through service where we can show our love for Christ, and give to others at the same time, a true blessing!

I am SO thankful for returning to the church after being inactive...it has been a true blessing for me and my family!

I am looking for an Eternal Companion. She does not have to be rich or perfect, just honest, loving, and accepting of me as I am, knowing I am looking to improve and will desire to help me to become the man I need to be. She must be affectionate, enjoy initiating as I do.

In the interest of full disclosure: I am willing to consider moving ONLY to Northern Virginia, Western Virginia, Central or Western Pennsylvania, or Eastern Ohio. I am NOT a big city boy either.

My girls are 12 and 13. They are great loving girls. THey want someone that will accept them as they are and love them as they deserve to be loved. They want a mom who go to young women activities with them, talk about "girl things" with.

I like to coach football, spend time with my girls, watch movies, and visit historical sites and museums. I enjoy nice dinners out and dinners in. I love the outdoors.

I look forward to walking through Virginia's many historical parks, and learning about our past.

Starting January first, I begin my long trek toward physical fitness. It will be hard breaking habits of over 30 years, but the time has come! I look to being able to run the mile in 7 minutes again! I am looking forward to learning how to eat healthy, changing bad habits and lifestyle patterns...time to end the eating out! :-)
