The main thing that I am looking for is friendship and companionship at this time, since that would be the foundation upon which to build a potentially deep, meaningful, and multidimensional relationship. I'm not interested in something that shoots up like a rocket because it will more than likely plummet just as rapidly. I want to develop something with staying power, which cannot be rushed.

I love to travel throughout the year, whether it is a day trip, long weekend, or a week or two (never been away from work for more than two weeks at a time, although I'm planning to get out of Dodge for a six-week trip when the 17-year locust plague returns in May 2021). I'm fortunate in that my position affords me some flexibility in the hours that I work, which allows me to stretch my vacation allowance a lot further. I make the best of traveling alone, but wouldn't mind less of the alone part, with the right person.
