I am more than a little unique, but I wouldn't
have it any other way. I love to learn, to laugh,
and to serve others. In the near future, I will be
starting my Master's degre in health
administration. Ultimately, I would like to work
in the healthcare sector as a consultant, working
to bridge the gap of misunderstanding between
patients and their providers.
I have three beautiful children who do not live
with me at this time. Despite the physical
distance between us, I have made it a priority to
remain an active participant and influence in
their lives. It is also extremely important to me
that I maintain a cordial relationship with their
mother, out of respect for all involved
parties.
Joining the church in my 20s is one of the few
decisions in life that I have never regretted.
Over the years, my testimony has been tested and
tried, but it has never failed me.

My interests include baseball, music, and reading.
I have an insatiably curious mind, and I love to
discover new ideas and insights.
Community service is also very important to me.
I am an active participant in a national
organization that seeks to further the rights of
the blind. In this effort, I astrive to increase
awareness of the unique challenges we face, and
advocate for university beneficial solutions that
will help all of us - whether blind or sighted -
reach our natural potential.
