My name is Bobbi. I am well educated, multi lingual and truly terrible at describing myself online. I have a quirky, sarcastic sense of humor that is probably due to me living what appears to be the weirdest life ever assigned to a mortal probation. I did my graduate work in the field of education but have worked a wide range of careers from broadcasting to tour guide to school bus driver, and now I own a yarn manufacture business and design and write knitting patterns. I told you it was weird. My business has me splitting my time between two of the most remarkable places on earth: Utah and Alaska and what's not to like about that? I have two sons, a stepson and a daughter in law who all think I am pretty great and that's got to be worth something, I hope. Mostly my days are consumed with trying to keep that eternal perspective while simultaneously putting out the fires, and I try to do it with a smile and without singeing off all my hair.

I have a really wide range of interests. Too wide, in fact. I would have to live to be approximately 537 years old to pursue them all. I love all things domestic, from spinning my own yarn to smoking and jarring salmon. My heart is in the garden and on the farm, and I love the good physical labor that is a part of all of that. Other loves, in no particular order: big dogs, movies, camping and fishing, knitting, travel, horses, outings to the big city, whale watching, babies of any species except mosquitoes and cockroaches and such, meteor showers, getting snowed in, seeing bears from the boat... you get the idea. I am pretty easy to please if the company is good. I really love to dance and I am pretty darned *Email Blocked* 2 step, swing and waltz but I have dabbled in cha cha, salsa and tango and would love to dabble in them more if the opportunity presents itself. Take me dancing and I will follow you anywhere. I mean, within limits... no need for a restraining order or anything.
