My Introduction: |
I am blessed to be a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, and Director of Outpatient treatment in an addictions program for alcohol and drug problems. The Gospel shows me the addictive/natural man part of our brains and how to help those who struggle getting free of it. I am goal oriented, but even more kind and caring. On the Myers Briggs test, I am an INFP at home, but at work function more as an INTJ. Some years ago, I wrote an LDS novel series, been thinking about writing some more to help others feel the Spirit and heal. I actually love to laugh but have been so careful for too long. Now it is time for me come fully alive again. And, even loving peaceful times at home,I I have been a homebody way too much... where is my open hearted, joyful companion to explore the world with me? Communication works best for me with someone whose heart is open and caring. I am a forgiving person and strive to focus on the best in others. I am an affectionate, tenderhearted man who loves to cuddle and be gentle with a special someone. And always, always values and protects the deepest heart of the one who has captured mine. |
My Interests and Hobbies: |
I enjoy doing Tai Chi. I run fairly consistently, doing it as meditation. I love old movies that are about hope and healing. And, being a hopeless romantic, I have many favorite romantic comedies that touch my heart. Good, uplifting conversation is a plus. I love listening to Celtic music, 60/70s soft rock-pop songs. Love the song, “What a Wonderful World” 2007 by Israel ‘IZ’ Kamakawio’ole. James Taylor, William Ackerman guitar music, Windham Hill selections, Enya, Neil Diamond, Hillary Weeks. I love reading, especially what uplifts and inspires. Read the Book of Mormon several times last year, and keep finding more and more truth in Conference talks each year. Favorite movie is Field of Dreams, with Kevin Costner, for the possibilities of the Spirit it portrays. Feel blessed to be able to write stories that help people remember the deeper things of life, and that they are more than their current circumstances and challenges. The Lord blessed me to be a healer who offers hope, and in that I find my greatest joy and purpose in this life. Now, if I can only find that one special, dear lady who will share her heart with me, and together we will find all the good of this life and the eternal world to come. |
