It is interesting to see how the world changes as time softens our perspectives. There is a great deal of good in the world, and much to be grateful for. I am a father of one daughter who is mostly grown and as I have worked to prepare her for the world I find I also have room for improvement, as I generally believe is true for all of us. One thing I have gotten right is my love of the gospel; I have been greatly blessed with understanding which I have been able to share with my daughter, and hopefully someday (in the distant future) with my grandchildren. From a more temporal perspective I find myself enjoying time with my family and friends; I enjoy working with my mind and my hands, and am somewhat good at both. I love the outdoors and the sunshine; and when the time is right would like to have a house in the mountains with a clear view of the sunrise in the morning over the trees. I enjoy collecting and playing board games and am more than happy to loose... though it doesn’t often happen :). I also enjoy spending time with my daughter and family, cooking, camping, landscaping, playing board games, going to plays, hanging with family and friends, getting my hands dirty, and serving people.

While I really am the full meal deal, I do have some traits which may not align with your interests. For example, I am not really into sports... probably has something to do with having no depth perception. I also don’t really enjoy traveling... probably because I get lost really easily and hate driving. And the last really big quirk is I am not an animal person – for a number of reasons. But if you can see past the quirks I am sure we will get along just fine.
