Friends have described me as laid back, easy going, honest, trustworthy, responsible, and having a good sense of humour. I think of myself as a history book with lots of pictures and stories, some unknown, and some yet to be written.
I am a retired mine surveyor, construction worker, and teacher. Puzzling? With bad knees, I was advised to leave the blue collar world so I went to university at fifty years young and emerged seven years later with three degrees.
My first teaching position was in the arctic. Later, I taught in a few isolated northern communities and after a short career, it was time to retire. I still have dreams of living and teaching in the north.
However, with a small pension, I have my needs looked after and, fortunately, my wants are few and manageable.
I'm looking for someone likeminded to share thoughts, ideas, and, if possible, some time together doing things we mutually enjoy.
