My name is Dave Olsen; I grew up in Iona, Idaho; I live in Idaho Falls; I have two daughters, two son-in-laws, and five grandchildren; and I am retired. My work life and retired life are both really interesting. I retired from employment in 2003 with a sufficient amount of money to live on. Today I really don't consider myself retired from what I refer to my continuing education and hobbies. However, before I retired from my employment, I worked at Rigby High School in Rigby, Idaho as a Developmental Therapy Technician in the Resource Room for quite some time teaching living skills to special teenagers and performing physical therapy to help injured or ill children improve their movement and manage their pain. In addition, to my work at Rigby High School I served special needs adults who worked at the Idaho National Laboratory nuclear facility and clients at the Joshia D. Smith Foundation. I engaged in my higher or college education at Ricks College at which I earned a General Education degree and at Idaho State University where I gained an Elementary Education degree (Inc 18 Special Ed credits). I have lived in Eastern Idaho except during the two years I served my mission in the Adelaide Australia Mission from 1976 through 1978.

It is simple to me and I have learned from sisters: First, I solely want to text a lady on lDSPlanet.com and/or email her so we can see whether we are compatable; thus, we can get to know one another by participating in writing activities. Secondly, for fun and excitement, I spend many happy hours during a week tinkering around with computers plus taking walks and bicycle rides that are long all around Idaho Falls, which again is where I live. I love taking part in both activities. Specifically, with computers I have maintained desktops, laptops, notebooks, and chromebooks by deleting their junk files; added additional memory to specific models; and repaired hardware and software issues. In addition, I love to walk and ride my mountain bike in Idaho Falls because it keeps extra pounds off of me and added inches off my waist. I have no secret to keeping off the weight because I stay away from eating large amounts of sugar and carbohydrates. I am also an accomplished English writing proofreader in which I earned an advanced proofreading certificate online from an institute in Florida. All these things are fun to me.
