Easy going? That's me,but I need to keep busy.
Hard worker, down-to-earth, handy,
affectionate,fun-loving, open minded-all of the
above. Bend over backward to please my partner?
Absolutely, however your mind took that statement!
A go-getter if what I'm going to get motivates.
Brown eyes & hair, a touch under 6'. Among
other things, I'm not perfect.
I appreciate some finer things in life -
intelligent conversation over good food &
red wine (mm..), ideally with a great partner
(mmm..oops, I digress!) I also enjoy simple things
but indulge myself on occasion. After all rewards
make hard work worthwhile, don't they?

Out of habit I open doors for most anyone. I
believe in chivalry and automatically reach for my
wallet to pay for dinner. Being polite I only
protest a little if you insist on splitting the
cheque.

My life has been wonderful, ruled by good luck and
serendipity. I have two beautiful daughters that
mean everything to me. A good job, The only thing
missing is the 'right' person to spend time with.
I don't care if you like cats and hate dogs. I
don't care if you read your horoscope before
leaving the house. I don't care if you think your
parents liked your sister more than you. I do care
that you are a person who understands the value of
honesty and intelligence. I do care if you have a
sense of humour. I'm looking for someone who can
laugh easily and really understands what is
important in life. It doesn't hurt if you are drop
dead gorgeous... Well, gorgeous will do. :) You
would be to me if you fit the above description.
- I LOVE dining out. Fortunately, I have no food
or wine allergies. I have, however, occasionally
had dinner companions who gave me reactions which
can only be described as allergic in nature.
- I'm a bit of a culture vulture, so I'm big into
film (which is really just a snobby word for
"movies"), theatre, literature,
live music, touring art galleries, etc.
- I'm lucky enough to have a job that challenges
me mentally while enabling me to do some of the
things I love, as described above.
- I'm constantly mistaken for being about 10 years
younger than I am. That may not always necessarily
be a compliment, though . . .
As for what I'm looking for in a woman, I'm often
accused of being picky, and I'll confess to being
guilty as charged. That said, I seem to get along
better with women who have an independent streak
in them.
A lot of guys don't seem to like women who are
intelligent and outspoken (or, to use their
vernacular, "mouthy"), but it's
quite the opposite with me. I actually find myself
more attracted to women who are outspoken, chatty,
even obnoxiously so. I know, I know, be careful
what you wish for . . .
