I am a cheerful, outgoing and a genuinely happy person. I tend to listen more than I talk so sometimes it seems I have nothing to say - but I do. I like exploratory conversations where I learn to appreciate other's point of view but I don't really like to debate. I've experienced a lot of ups and downs in life, heartache and joy. I'm looking for more joy!
My career is very important to me. I got a late start because of the years that I stayed home with my daughter. Because of circumstances surrounding my education and career, I cherish it as a gift from a loving Heavenly Father who knows all and is there to provide my every need. I don't know why I'm so blessed, I don't really deserve it. I have been given many opportunities beyond my true experience level and so I always feel I have catching up to do. I tend to work long hours, trying to do the very best I can. Admittedly, I often go overboard with work, setting my real priorities aside for another day. I'm working on that.
Family is central to who I am. I have a rich heritage in the church and I gain strength from the stories of my pioneer ancestors.

I love going for walks with my dog. I also love to study the word!
