God and family are everything to me. My life-long effort is for Christ to become the speaker of my words and the doer of my deeds. I work hard professionally, but I've been blessed with financial security far beyond my own abilities. I started my land development business twice: Once after graduate school (JD and MBA) then again after getting schooled by the Great Recession. My biggest professional accomplishment so far has been creating a brand new city from scratch with a couple other guys. (No joke!) Now 30,000+ people live there and they're getting their own temple! I've always loved making music. During law school I was privileged to sing all over Italy and Israel with the Brigham Young University Singers (until I parked the bus and they went into their concerts, lol). Now I love making music with my four wonderful children, ages 13 (g), 17 (b), 21 (g), and 22 (g). Sadly, next year I'll be down to one *Email Blocked* live on a beautiful 14-acre farm here on the Boise River. The back porch looks over our big, tree-lined pond that's usually as full of kids as it is fish. The farm animals are here to help teach the kids to be responsible, to work hard and to respect life. I love entertaining friends and family here.

When I'm not working, I like to exercise, ride horses, chase cows, swim in the pond or the river, harvest goat head thorns (oops, wrong list for that one), sit on the porch and enjoy deep conversations, cultivate deep friendships, and listen to good music while we watch the sunset or lightning storms together. My other passions include camping, hiking, white water paddle boarding (no, but we should try it!), learning, exercising, traveling (I backpacked around the world. Really!) waiting at traffic lights, and joining my kids in whatever they're doing. Giving back is important to me.
