Like most folks, I'm at my best when I'm fully engaged in a balanced mix of work, family time, recreation, service, and personal time. At this point in my life and career, that time is now. Physically, I am fit enough to runs for miles and compete well in many sports, although I have sustained a few injuries that have been patched up nicely. I live the word of wisdom and have been blessed with a youthful face and build. Pic available upon request. My mind processes thoughts, feedback, and observations quickly, yet I'm not much for keeping track of facts and trivia. I enjoy discussing ideas and theories about our world, even ones that some may consider unorthodox. My intellectual hobbies are astronomy, ancient civilizations and history, cognitive physiology, and natural remedies. Politically, I am a libertarian-leaning conservative. I served a state-side mission and know the scriptures well. My favorite areas of service to the Lord are sharing the gospel and seeking out those in distress and finding ways to lighten their burden. How I came to the point of potentially meeting a forever spouse online is a long story that I understand much better now with hindsight. Mutual physical attraction is a given and doesn't take weeks or months to determine. Musts in a mate are genuineness, loyalty, advocacy, and mature emotional intelligence. Close seconds are good humor, physical activity and exercise, and spontaneity. I am far from perfect and my mate will feel the same way about herself.
