I am a self proclaimed nerd that firmly believes
maturity is a state of mind... and has nothing to
do with age.
I graduated HS in Alaska. I have two college
degrees; one in Aircraft Maintenance from Texas (
I was a mechanic for 8 years) and one in
Commercial Architecture and Design from Brown
(which I am currently practicing). I am also
taking online classes with Harvard right now. You
know what they say. .. The Glory of God is
intelligence... Although I feel less glorious
after every class I take. ..
That being said, I love to read ( a lot! ),
museums of all sorts, and the performing arts
(told you! NERD ALERT!) I also have a ferocious
streak of invincibility syndrome and like to
repair my own car, do my own repairs and home
improvement projects, and strive to slay the
Jabberwocki (affectionate name of my laundry
monster) with fervor and gusto.
I am a proud member of the primary presidency.
Secretly my favorite callings have been with the
12-13 year olds. And modestly, I'm one freakin
awesome teacher.
I have 3 kids that dazzle me daily with their
amazing amazingness. I'm also a "mama
bear" so this concludes further info on Thing
1, Thing 2, and That Thing.
I enjoy the calibur of witty people. Quite
frankly, that could be anyone since I am easily
amused. As you can tell, I take myself QUITE
seriously (or not!)
What I am looking for: an intelligent
conversation that doesn't center around Dora the
Explorer or Courage the Cowardly Dog. I am not
looking for mah-wige as I am recently divorced...
and I don't want to date outside of the church due
to differences in standards and the unrealistic
expectations that most of society deems
"normal" after a first date.
So. Here I am.

What do I think is fun? Silly question. I like
fun things of every sort!
After living in Alaska I've got that outdoorsy
stuff in mah blud.
(Mother nature fan. Check)
After my third child was born I broke my arm
Roller Blading. Apparently my equilibrium has
changed since I was 18.
(Wonky stunts. Check)
I was having breakfast at LaMadelines in Jackson
Square down in New Orleans the day Katrina came to
town.
(Love to travel. Check.) ...now to work on that
timing thing...
I can not, will not, ever get tired of road trips.
Consider this fair warning. I have a lead foot
and have been known to try breaking the sound
barrier... With my Hyundai. wOot!
(Should any law enforcement officials be reading
this, please disregard the previous paragraph).
(Aspirations of adding race car driver to my
resume. Check)
Although i am impressed by the testimonies others
have felt to share on this forum, I don't feel the
need to express my testimony on this site. If I
didn't have one, I wouldn't be here. I feel
that testimony is an action word. Talk is cheap.
Put your money where your mouth is.
In closing, I would be incredibly surprised if I
receive any messages. I'm quirky, assertive, and
opinionated. BUT, I like to laugh and I like to
make others laugh. Should you feel inclined to
pursue the challenge of cultivating a
relationship... I, in return, can offer you all
of me and nothing more.
