Hello. I've been a member all my life and I'm very grateful for that. I'm originally from California, served a mission in the Dominican Republic, and got a degree in Neuroscience, and I'm currently trying to get in to grad school for a PHD in the same. My life, tastes and personality are a strange set of contrasts. I love the out doors, particularly camping, especially if it happens to be in the mountains or near an ocean, but I also like movies, video games, and curling up wth a good fantasy / sci-fi novel. Learning black smithing techniques is definitely on my bucket list, but I'm also pretty talented in the fine arts like music and drawing. I study a traditional martial art called Budoshin Jujitsu, but I also spent several years as an amateur ballroom dance competitor. I love subtle witty / downplayed humor. Long story short, I'm weird, and if you think your weirdness complements my own then I'd like to get to know you.
