I'm a Man of My Convictions, Call Me Wrong, Call Me Right!

They say the best way to meet people is through your friends, so here I am, a laid back guy with a vein of independence and an overriding streak of good old-fashioned romance.

Like most men, I love outdoor & indoor sports, especially going to the gym. I'll take in a rodeo, enjoy snowmobiling and playing volleyball on the beach or run into the surf. I'm always ready to hang out with friends and family.

One of my biggest interests is competitive dancing, which I do; I love to hold a woman close and lead her through a few steps. (I told you I was romantic, didn't I?) Taking her down for a dip? That's got me written all over it!

. My friends say I still have a little 'Southern sugar' hanging on me. I love good down-home cooking and someone with a soft voice sitting across the table from me eating it.

These days, it seems like some folks think commitment is too much to ask. It's a rare and precious jewel. But I'm really looking for what my grandparents shared. The way they looked at each other and how they held each other close still means a lot to me. I want someone who understands what that means and what it takes to get there. Well, and how to have fun along the way!

I just moved to a new place, so I'm ready to meet people who are somewhat geographically close to me. (Which isn't to say I wouldn't harness the horsepower for the right woman!) I think it'd be great to have some new friends and partners to take dancing, try different restaurants, hike in the mountains, walk the beaches or almost anything else.

I love fun, outgoing people. I like women who are independent with thoughts of their own. A woman should have a few ideas on entertainment. I'd love try her new dancing spot one night and my old favorite pizza place the next. In between, I'd like to see a sunset and a sunrise or two. It's all good.

I am looking for someone who has a conscious and listens to it! One more thing, I love a lady who steps outside of the box on stereotypical gender roles, one who does not wait for the first move to always be done by the man. Can That be you?

Some of the things I spend my fun time are as follows and not in any order...... Competitive Dancing, gardening, Photography, Fishing, Traveling, Going to the Movies, Working out at the Gym ( I use to be a personal Trainer), spending time with family andFriends, all sports except, water polo and golf!
I tend to listen to Country Music, mostly because I can relate to a lot of the Lyrics except when they talk about drinking, cheating, dog left sort of thing. I have 4 kids 1 in college,1 married, 1 Serving in the Army and the other with her mother. I also enjoy going to Rodeos, Country Concerts and some blues also! there is much more but what fun would it be if you knew everything about me right now....wink!
