Looking for my best friend, for time & all eternity. I'm a single mom with fun kids. Things are good here, & I would say that the only drama in my life is the occasional theatrical production that I'm called on to interpret into ASL. I love our family, but there's definitely room for someone amazing to join us. One of my favorite memories is catching & releasing tadpoles from a local pond when I was four. That led to my biology degree, & working as a biologist for a time in the Bering Sea, & at other field sites across the U.S.

I'm currently learning how to weld, & adding that to my repertoire of crafty skills. I have an indoor winter garden, currently with sweet peppers, chard, tomatoes, strawberry plants, catnip, & a mini-banana plant. I enjoy cooking, but meals out are also nice, especially Mexican, Thai, or Indian food. I'm really into alternative architecture, like Monolithic domes and straw bale homes. Sunny days make me happy, but there's nothing like the thrill of a good storm. We love swimming, & sometimes you can find me jumping on my mini trampoline, or dancing in the kitchen. I've always loved camping from an early age, & making a cozy campfire. I'm usually too busy to watch TV, but I enjoy the occasional adventure movie, like 007 or Jackie Chan.
