I'm a simple kind of a guy. God and family are my first priorities. I am happy living in a shack near the beach, more than having a bunch of status symbols. I don't like extra drama, life has far too much of that already. Why add more? The less amount of baggage I have to carry the better it is. I am an active member of the church, with a strong testimony. I truly find joy from following Christ back to our Heavenly Father, even in times of trials. I've had more than my share of those, but I find they are really only blessings in disguise that aren't usually seen until they are long past. I don't let those things get me down. I find the strength to stand by getting on my knees. I find joy in having the Comforter guiding me. I treasure the small and simple things in life, a lot more than the spectacular things. I don't like head games and they are a deal breaker for me. I have walked alone all this time, while I raised my kids, so I am not desperate enough to jump through any hoops just to have someone walking with me. I would rather run to God as fast as I can and if someone keeps up then I'll be more than happy to introduce myself. I am honest and compassionate. There have been many times when people have taken advantage of those things, so I am slow to be comfortable at first, but once I open up I am a very loyal and trusting friend. I can be opinionated because I am addicted to learning things. I read a lot and like to study things on the internet. Often times I study things that most people don't seem to notice even exist. I enjoy stimulating conversations and enjoy a really good, civil debate. I feel it opens my mind up to seeing different facets on things. I, however, don't like contention, so I am quick to agree to disagree when I see that the conversation is going to go nowhere. I don't need everyone to have my same opinions in order to care about them. Life would be rather boring if there weren't differences in opinions, and personalities. I am also humble enough to change my own opinion when I am shown that mine is incorrect. I tend to follow the truth where it takes me, rather than trying to bend the truth to conform to a certain train of thought. I am looking for friendship first, and if something more comes out of that then all the better. If nothing more comes of that, I don't see how having more friends can hurt. You can't have too many friends.

I enjoy surfing the most. I have surfed since I was 5 years old. I also enjoy music. I love to write and record original music when I can find the time. I also love to create art. I tend to get lost in these activities. I love being out in nature a lot. Hawaii is very conducive to that since the weather is usually pretty inviting all year round. I can clean up pretty nicely when I need to go out on the town. I can enjoy social events, but I find that it can be draining if I spend too long at one. I tend to recharge my inner batteries better at home, where I can get quite time to relax. Perhaps watching a good movie, or reading a good book. I sometimes like to cook, because I am a really good cook. I would prefer to have someone else do the cooking some of the times though (a luxury I have missed out on for quite a while). I tend to like a good balance between home life, working and going out and having a fun time. I am self employed so I do have a flexible schedule, but I am also self driven. I get a lot of satisfaction from accomplishing things, so I often times tend to work really hard so I can have the time to play when those opportunities arise. I can get so lost in my work that I don't even notice how late the time gets sometimes. I guess I'm pretty lucky that I like my work. I don't know what more to write. I am actually really tired of writing because I had to do it before I signed up. This is my second time and I don't really enjoy writing about myself so much because I don't particularly like to toot my own horn. I don't know why all that I had already written the first time isn't there, and I can't really remember what I had said.
