I am recent widower as of last year, have a teenage daughter at home and what I refer to as an honorary daughter that lives in Oregon where I'm originally from. She looks up to me as a father because I've been there for her since she was a little girl, even though she's an old friend's daughter. I joined the church in 2010 after a lengthy investigation into the gospel, my family generally limits their interaction with me because of my previous religion which many still remain in. I enjoy watching romantic comedies and have a tendency of getting into them. I currently am serving as a Temple Worker on top of my ward calling. I believe that missionaries are key to the full restoration of the gospel and all four corners of the globe, as such I hope to serve a full-time mission when I reach retirement. Unfortunately my late wife passed into the complications from a genetic disorder she had, she was my second wife. My first wife passed away a few years after we were sealed as a family in the temple. Because she was my best friend for over a decade prior to our marriage and my second wife was my best friend for several months before we got serious, I believe friendship is key to a successful companionship.. I would like to start out talking and getting to know someone, if it turns into something more serious down the road then a desire to serve the church will need to be a mutual goal.

I enjoy biblical theology, woodworking, family history research, watching movies, fairly active at the gym, Temple work, serving in my callings, I enjoy listening to music, I am fairly open as it relates to music however I enjoy country and oldies more than any other. I enjoy the small City settings, though I currently live in the big city for work.
