I lost my wife to cancer. I have a friend who also lost his wife and he told me of this site. I'm not sure if I'm quite ready for this as yet, but I will give it a try. I'll try to give you a picture of who I am.

I love life. All that know me would say that I'm optimistic, humorous, and witty. I love sports, walks on the beach. I have 3 wonderful girls, ages, 22, 18, & 16 yr. old, who are the apples of my eye.

What am I looking for? I would like to meet some new friends for chat or to just talk about things in general. Not looking for a mate just yet, but who knows...a friendship may lead to marriage. I just want to see how this works. I look forward to hearing from others.

I love reading, racquetball, photography, camping, outdoors, movies, music (mostly oldies and classical...there's nothing like the tried and proven). Travel is important to me especially since I have 2 daughters at both ends of the country (NYC and SF, CA). Snuggling with someone special to watch a movie at home is nice as well (did I say that I have a popcorn machine?). Weekend get aways seems to qwench a thirst. Even an afternoon drive gets the cobwebs out. Conversation is important. Let me know where you stand on things. We don't have to agree on everything, just some core values.
