Hello Everyone,
Thanks for checking my profile. A bit about me: I
am a happy, playful person who also takes serious
things seriously. I don't need someone to make me
happy because I already am. I am searching for
someone to share the 'come what mays' with and
sweeten life's journey. I was widowed in May of
2011. I have four chidren, all grown. I also have
four grandchildren.
What am I like? I am a classic gemini personality
- think of me as a two for one package, sometimes
chatty, but other times reflective and quiet. I
have a never-ending thirst for knowledge and new
experiences.
I am intelligent and passionate about people and
subjects dear to me. I am well-educated, gainfully
employed and have my own teeth and hair. (For you,
hair is optional.)
I am responsible and dependable. I laugh and
forgive easily and love deeply. You will always
know where you stand with me. Deception is not in
my nature.
I don't always have to get my way, but do
appreciate having my say and being taken
seriously. I am a true friend through thick and
thin. I am looking for a man whose lead I will
feel comfortable following - and trust and open
communication will be required for that to happen.
I am drawn to quietly confident men of action with
a solid testimony and a goal to serve a senior
mission. It would be a bonus if he has any of the
following abilities: is a good handyman, has a
good sense of humor, can dance and enjoys working
together as a team.
My health is good and I come from hardy stock.
Both parents lived well into their 90s. Be
prepared to put up with me for a good long time.
As a convert, I have worthily held a temple
recommend since 1973. My testimony is solid and it
has been sorely tested.
I enjoy most music from classical to pop (not
rap), like to dance, go for long walks, cook and
eat with friends and check out estate sales and
auctions.
As a tenth generation American, my roots go deep
in this great land. I was raised on a small family
farm in Missouri that was owned by my family for
over a century. There I learned to work hard,
don't whine and watch what you step in.
There is a lot more to talk about, but that will
wait until we meet.
Thanks for reading my ramblings. Good luck to you
in your search.

I like most kinds of music, trips to the
mountains, and BSU football. I also enjoy cooking
and sharing a good meal. Am getting into
photography as a hobby, and prefer shots of
nature.
I enjoy walking, swimming and pilates. My kind of
fishing involves reading a good book while
drowning a worm, but I like to go along for the
ride as long as the company and the scenery are
good. I also like to dance.
Some guys find me intimidating (because I speak my
mind?). I have a degree in secondary education,
graduate work at BYU in child development and
family relations.
I am looking for a quiet but confident,
interesting man. Prefer well educated, but
intelligent and curious by nature will do.
I have spent too long being too serious. It's time
for some silliness and relaxing fun as long as it
does not involve eating bugs.
I take my covenants seriously and plan to serve a
mission when I retire.
Drop me a line if you are interested and good luck
in your search regardless.
