Lets see...I love to read...I'll read just about
anything except cereal boxes...I have standards.
I love to sing (with much enthusiasm but little
talent) and about 500 years ago in my youth I
played the flute, oboe and baritone sax very, very
badly. I've recently learned to play the
didgeridoo (don't tell any real aborigines...women
aren't supposed to do that).
I'm a Doctor of Naturopathy, a Clinical
Hypnotherapist, a Graphologist and a Master
Florist (seriously...talk about multi-talented
huh?)...however, the whole walking and chewing gum
thing still eludes me...
I decided to check out this site because my kids
thought I should cultivate friendships with people
over the age of 25...and the chair aerobics class
at the senior center was booked, so I guess this
will have to do...
DISCLAIMER: OK…here’s the fine print
lol…I’m not on this site trolling for a
husband. I’m interested in friends who share my
basic beliefs. HOWEVER…if, by some God given
miracle I find a man with whom I’d like to spend
the rest of my life, there are a few things I
should mention up front…
1. I love the gospel and expect my partner to
share my deep devotion.
2. I expect a man to respect, honor and exemplify
his Priesthood.
3. I live life from an eternal perspective…this
means if I ever marry, it will be in the
temple…full stop…not negotiable.
4. If you can’t appreciate and understand an
oddball, off the wall sense of humor, don’t
bother…I’d drive you crazy hahaha.
Life is too short to wake up with regrets..
So love the people who treat you right..
Forget about the ones who don't.
Believe everything happens for a reason.
If you get a second chance, grab it with both
hands.
If it changes your life, let it.
Nobody said life would be easy,
they just promised it would be worth it.
Friends are like balloons;
Once you let them go, you might not get them back.
Sometimes we get so busy with our own lives and
problems that we may not even notice that we've
let them fly away.
Sometimes we are so caught up in who's
right and who's wrong that we forget what's right
and wrong..
Sometimes we just don't realize what real
friendship means until it is too late.
