Spiritual------- I must gain exaltation and have a
celestial marriage, anything less is unacceptable
but I know me and my weaknesses so it seems
impossible. With enough help from our Father in
Heaven, our Savior and a loving companion working,
studying the gospel and praying with me, we can
both achieve the imposable and take our rightful
place in our eternal family organization.
Anything else we accomplish in this life will not
matter in a million years if we do not accomplish
this.
Family---------- I have been blessed with seven
great kids (now all grown and solid in the gospel)
one more that I feel a special connection to, and
nine grandkids. “Families can be forever” is
not a beautiful concept to believe in, it is real.
My family that is on the other side is still my
family and the eternal family organization is the
eternal order of things.
Education------What I have been through in life is
an education, the medical research I study is an
education, what I am learning from continuing
answers to prayers, reading scriptures, watching
old conference talks and the whisperings of the
spirit is an education and it all is trying to
teach me what my loving Father in Heaven wants me
to know to get my “Eternal Life Degree”.
A little about me-- I yearn for a weekly temple
date night with my eternal companion followed by a
walk in the park, a movie, watching the sunset,
eating out, swinging in a swing set or some other
pleasant activity. I want my arm around my
eternal helpmate by my side as we build our
future, pray and study the gospel together.
