I joined the Church later in life after having
been a free-spirited young woman. I am herpes
positive. It is controlled with medication, but it
is what it is. Since my conversion, I now adhere
to the Gospel and its principles and keep my
covenants. I am faithful and loyal and am
searching for my eternal companion. I know that by
my revealing the above information that I will be
instantly rejected by most of the men on this
site, but I believe that it is important to have
this known up front. This is also the reason I do
not have a picture displayed. A photo will be
gladly sent to anyone interested enough to write
and ask for it. Briefly, I am a 57 year old woman
with short blond hair and blue-gray eyes. I have
laugh lines around my eyes and a wide smile.
I am looking for a good man who can marry in the
Temple. I want my husband to be the spiritual
leader of our home, my best friend and confidante,
and my lover. However I do want to have family
prayer and scripture study and to attend the
Temple regularly. I want to be able to share my
feelings and opinions freely, and I offer you the
same opportunity. I hate to argue, but welcome the
chance to resolve differences calmly and
compassionately. I offer you my sense of
adventure, my loyalty, my sense of humor (bonus
points if you can make me laugh), my kindness, my
passion, and my whole heart. I like to spend a lot
of time with my partner, but I do need a little
alone time to gather my thoughts. I am physically
affectionate when in a relationship, and need to
have my affection reciprocated.
Btw I will probably not initiate contact beyond
viewing your profile, so if you are considering
contacting me, please feel free to do so as that
is the only way we will ever get to know each
other. I don't go where I'm not welcome, and this
profile is designed the way it is so you can
immediately know my situation and decide if you
have any further interest. Thank you for your
kindness.

I love the ocean and long walks on the beach. I
also love the forest and getting out into nature.
I generally love Heavenly Father's creations, but
I avoid the desert in the summer because it gets
too hot for me. This is unfortunate as I love
being in the sun because it lifts my spirits, as
in "There is Sunshine in my Soul
Today."
I love animals, wild and domestic, and I enjoy
visiting zoos to see them. I would also welcome
your well-behaved warm blooded pets. I don't like
spiders and snakes.
I enjoy travel; there is nothing like a change of
scenery to add excitement to life. I like visiting
museums, shows, exhibitions, and street fairs, and
I like road trips as well as trips by air. I think
I would enjoy a cruise, but haven't had the
opportunity to try that method of travel yet. I
would enthusiastically join you to attend any
sporting events.
Family is important to me. I love my children and
grandchild and love to see them regularly. I would
also love to spend time with your family if you
like. I am the only member of the Church in my
family so far, but I have not given up hope.
I enjoy restaurants, but don't really have any
favorites. I like finding new places and new
dishes.
I enjoy many types and styles of music, from
little blues cafes and jazz clubs to the Symphony,
passing through oldies rock, country western bands
at an Independence Day celebration, polka music at
Octoberfest, and dub-step. However, I do not like
vulgar lyrics in any genre.
I don't watch much television myself, but have
been known to join in when others are watching
something. I like movies, preferring comedies, but
will watch other types as long as they are not
R-rated or horror movies.
I greatly enjoy reading; I like books, magazines,
professional journals and Internet research, as
well as my Scriptures. I follow politics to some
extent, am a registered Independent, vote in every
election, support the Second Amendment, and tend
to lean in a Conservative direction. I love the
freedoms we have in this country and especially
cherish the religious freedom which allowed the
Gospel to be restored here and now allows us to
worship according to the dictates of our
consciences.
