Hi! I have a really easy-going personality, and a
silly, sometimes sarcastic sense of humor. I've
been described as a "homebody"; I enjoy
the company of one rather than many. I'm looking
for my eternal companion...someone who is willing
to settle down and get to the business of raising
a family!
I was converted in February 2005. People have
told me that my coversion story is pretty
incredible...if you'd like to hear about it, just
ask!
I'm an active member in my ward, and I love Relief
Society. Besides Visiting Teacher, I don't have
any callings right now. I've previously had
callings as Young Women's secretary and teacher,
and Relief Society teacher.
Below are two lists - one list contains good
attributes of mine, the other some of the
not-so-pleasant things about me. Hopefully, these
will help you to figure out what kind of person I
really am!
Positives:
1. I'm a good cook.
2. I keep a very clean home.
3. I take good care of my body.
4. I'm an excellent mother.
5. I have a great sense of humor, and tend to find
humor in any situation (when appropriate).
6. I'm easy to get along with; there are very few
people who "rub me the wrong way".
7. I'm a "less is more" type of
person.
8. I'm intelligent.
9. I take my time at doing things, so that they
are done right the first time.
10. I'm happiest when I'm serving others and
bringing them happiness.
Not so positives:
1. I snore.
2. I love to stay up late and sleep in.
3. I'm often forgetful.
4. I did not inherit my mother's crafty gene.
5. I'm frequently late to appointments.
6. I hate doing dishes.
7. I'm a procrastinater (did I spell that
right?).
8. Clutter is my worst enemy.
9. I have a bad driving record.
10. I love to buy shoes. Lots of shoes.

Some of my favorite activities are: shooting
handguns (I used to shoot competitively), playing
pool, biking, hiking, reading, cooking/baking,
playing musical instruments, and listening to all
genres of music. Right now I'm tackling the
guitar...*10 bonus points to the guy who can teach
me a few chords!* I got into music at a very
young age. My parents always had music playing in
the house, and my I remember my mother playing the
piano ever since I can remember. When I was about
6, I was forced to take accordian lessons for four
years...I hated my mother for it, and cried during
lessons and recitals. Now, I can't thank her
enough....I am so happy to be able to share the
gift of music with my children. I've played 8
different instruments, including piano.
I've been known to go snowboarding and sledding,
swimming, fishing, and hunting. At the moment my
oldest son and myself are exploring the world of
rock climbing. We love to spend time outdoors
when we can, and it's a great opportunity to spend
time together as a family.
Of course, my children are very important to me
and keep my days extremely busy. We don't have
any pets, I already have my hands full, thank you!
I like to watch cheesy comedies and martial arts
films, like House of Flying Daggers and The
Anchorman. I don't have much time for television,
but when I get a chance, I like to watch
Mythbusters and Man vs. Wild with my son. I love
Saturday Night Live and Dancing With the Stars.
