Hi My name is Helen and I live in England.
I am currently a stay at home mum but studying
full time for a new career and new direction.
I have two amazing children - my oldest has Downs
Syndrome and Autism and has taught me so much
about what really matters and what battles are
worth fighting. Dave lives in a residential
college right now. My youngest is a teenager in a
toddlers body (an angel in disguise really).
I am extremly romantic and passionate and so hate
being single. I am caring and thoughtful towards
others. My baggage has been dealt with and I am
emotionally available and ready to move on.
I have been told I am a natural leader, organiser
and a doer. Procrastination and Justification are
two of my pet peeves and they are two of the
adversaries favourite tools.
However I know my faults. I can be a pain in the
butt at times as I say what I think (even when
there are times i should maybe keep quiet). With
me what you see is what you get - no back
stabbing, no gossiping - if I have something to
say I will say it to you - I call a spade a spade
unless its a shovel of course!
WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR:
AGE:- 32-38
PERSONALITY - I love a man who can be funny
without being crude - who is quick witted and not
offensive or hurtful with his humor. I want a man
who can deal with life's ups and downs without
shouting, sulking or slamming doors. A man who is
not aggressive when upset or stressed. A man who
puts his family before anything else.
EMOTIONALLY - I want a man who knows how to be
romantic and passionate and likes a woman to be
both too. A man who has compassion not anger
towards people whatever circumstances they might
be in. I want a man who knows the importance of
eye contact and subtle smiles and who can give and
read body language. I want a man who likes to
cuddle and be affectionate whether we are alone
watching a movie or in a crowded place walking
through a park for example.
MENTALLY - I want a man who is interested in the
world around him - who has a broad knowledge of
what life is about - who appreciates the things
others can teach him and the things he can teach
others. A want a man who knows we never stop
learning and growing and that different trial and
challenges produce different levels of
understanding.
SPIRITUALLY - I want a man who is temple focused -
but always wanting to grow and learn within the
Gospel - a man who knows and respects the Saviour
as a friend, and brother as well as a Saviour and
Redeemer. A man who is continually striving to go
in the right direction. I want a man who will
honor his priesthood and lead and direct our
family in righteousness - who will want family and
personal scripture study - who will want family
and personal prayer and FHE and Family Council and
Family Temple trips.
PHYSICALLY - I prefer tall men - no facial hair
-cute butt - a twinkle in his eye- a cute smile -
hands he likes held and arms he likes to wrap
around me.
I do believe that there has to be a physical
attraction a "zing" factor but I can't
tell you what that is or if it is there till I see
someone in person

I am currently studying for a BSc in Psychology
and a BA in Childhood and Youth studies - I plan
on doing a 1 year PGCE course in 2010 and by 2011
I will be a fully qualified teacher.
I love to do things rather than stay in and watch
TV - I love going to castles, historic towns,
beaches, theatre, concerts and even museums. I
love to learn and enjoy trying new things.
My favourite thing in life is surprising people
and bringing a little happiness into the lives of
those having a hard time. Being thankful for the
good things in my life and appreciating the
goodness in others.
I love the Gospel with all my heart and I feel the
need to surround myself with people who embrace
and encourage the spirit. I choose not to
participate in activities which drive away the
spirit.
This life is a short one and every choice we make
leads us closer to the Lord or further from
him......sometimes I wonder how many mistakes can
we make before time runs out? Each moment is
important and I try to fill my life with moments I
will treasure when I look back.
My biggest theory on life is: If you don't take a
chance in life you might miss something pretty
special.
