I am a divorced mother of 2 daughters who are married and I have 4 wonderful grandchildren. I was raised in the Air Force and love to meet new people. I am looking for a longterm companionable friendship/ perhaps marriage relationship. I worked in the medical field for 25 years as a medical transcriptionist/front/back office assistant and now am a costume designer/manufacturer for competion dancers and am self-employed. I am blessed with a wonderful friendship with my childrens father and his wife of 31 years. We share our parenting and grandparenting duties and consider ourselves "Family". I have wonderful friends and lots of room for more. I love my church and have a sincere testimony of the Gospel.

I absolutely love to read and if I am too busy to do that I download books to my Ipod and let it read to me. I love tole painting, needlework and sewing, GENEALOGY and am computer literate. I like museums and anything historical, love to watch the History, Discovery and Military channels on TV. Like detective stories, Survivor, The Amazing Race and quiz shows. My children and grandchildren are an important part of my life and always will be, but have room in my heart for someone elses too. I like all types of music especially Country. I have two chihuahuas, Lucy and Dezi and they are yappy little companions. I am a bit overweight, but my grandchildren think I am cushy. I like to walk and ride bicycles and swim. I love boating, camping, entertaining friends and family in my home. I love gadgets and am mechanically minded, meaning I can take apart things and reassemble them. I love cooking, but cooking for one is not inspirational at all.
