I'm rather reserved until I get to know someone, but once I feel at ease, I'm fun to hang around with. I'm looking for someone to be a good friend. I recently retired from a career as a corporate tax manager, and now am trying my hand at being a "stay-at-home" mom to my 15 year old daughter. Having more time to spend with a teenager is not exactly what I hoped it would be, but we're working it out! I've recently been called to be Young Women's president, so at least I know some teenagers who will speak to me! ;-)

I have a teenage daughter still at home, so she takes most of my time. I like to do anything that she will agree to do with me, which is usually shopping for her! I love to go to movies and plays and trying new restaurants or new recipes. I like camping, though I'm a fair-weather camper, and I love to travel. I haven't been able to do as much of that as I'd hoped recently, but I'm adding to my list of places I want to see!
