I am here to make friends, thats one of my
passions. I love the church and my life, and
wouldn't trade anything. Life has been hard, but
then who's isn't? I hope that if you want a friend
that you will contact me and get to know me
better. Email me and we can email back and forth
and get to know each other. In life I'm pretty
well after a good lds guy who is righteous in his
ways, being a Rm is a plus and of course I am
still young enough to think of those who aren't
out on their missions yet....The only thing is
that I'm not really searching for that through
this site, this is to become friends with some
more lds people, people who share my values. I
love keeping in touch with missionaries, I really
feel that through writing I can grow into someone
who will someday be ready for an eternal family.
Oh ya, talking about missionaries, MY RETURNED
MISSIONARIES friends are awesome! I have this
really cool friend who by the way has the title of
RM, I call him gwapsanch. hehehehehe!
Well anyways, if you want to become friends I'm
always here for ya!
Smile always, thats my motto!
SMILE=spiritually minded is life eternal
Here's a new story its called Motivation!
A young man had returned from his mission and was
very discouraged because he was making very little
progress toward one of the goals that he had set
for himself that of getting married. He had
trouble ever getting a date. He finally decided to
go see his Bishop.
After listening to his story, the
Bishop said, “ I’ll be quite frank with you,
Elder. The reason you can’t get dates is because
you’re too fat. You need to jog, exercise, or do
something to take care of your overweight
problem.”
“ Yes, I know you’re right,” he said. “
but I just can’t seem to motivate myself to do
anything about it ”
He went from his interview feeling
discouraged as ever. He had an apartment in the
ward, and a few days later someone knocked at his
door about 5:30 in the morning. He stumbled out of
bed, pulled on some trousers and a shirt, slipped
on some house-shoes and finally made his way to
the front door.
When he opened the door, there stood a
beautiful blond, all decked out in a jogging
outfit.
“I don’t know what this means,”
she said, “ but the Bishop told me that if you
could catch me you could have me. “
With that, she turned and started
running down the street. The returned missionary
was right behind her…for about two blocks, and
then he fell on the grass and lay there panting
for breath.
For the next weeks, each morning the
girl would knock on the door and then turn and jog
down the street. By the weekend, this young man
had jogging shoes, shirt, shorts….the works!
“ Boy was he motivated!
After about three weeks he was really
excited. He was in better shape than ever and
closing the gap. In fact, this particular morning
he was elated because he knew that today he would
catch up to her. At 5:30 A. M. there was a knock
at the door and he was ready! He anxiously flung
open the door. There stood a very plain,
overweight young lady. “ I don’t know what
this mean,” she said, “ but the Bishop told me
that if I could catch you, I could have you.”
Boy, was he motivated!!

My interests are many things.... I love to dance,
read, write, talk to people, phone or through
email. Religion is my life, and has brought me the
greatest thing ever, the membership of the only
true church. Since my mom has to work most of the
time, I take care of my younger siblings which
means washing clothes, cooking, making sure they
get where they need to go and many other things.(
LIfe has changed, now I am a full time college
student so I have many different roles now. I
still have to take care of business and chofer my
siblings around.) I enjoy keeping in touch with
great friend, which I am blessed to have them all
over the world. I love quotes and sayings by
different people and I love to attend church and
always put my two bits into the lesson about what
I think on the topic.
I saw that they took off my church section and I
didn't really like that idea. The church is my
life and has shaped me into who I am now. Wow,
that makes me sound growed up! just kidding.
Anyways, I really hope that I can get across that
the gospel is everything in my life and has really
helped me out. I love missionaries and respect
anyone who has served or is going to serve in the
future. I thank you for making a difference in
people's lives and for affecting mine. I am the
kind of outgoing person that will approach someone
who I havn't seen before and make sure they feel
welcome, I once wanted that and still want to feel
welcome and so therefore, I make others feel like
they are welcome. I love my leaders and thank them
for helping me through life. I love Christ and
everything he has done for me, I hope that if you
share the same values as me that you will drop me
a line, I would love to get to know you.....
Guess what!? Updated news: Recently I was called
as Relief Society visiting teaching advisor,
something like that...assitant to the leader of
Relief Society. I have many duties now, I am a
multipurposed person now. I love feeling like I
have a purpose in church. I love my new calling!
This here is another one of my favorite pass
times, finding quotes like these, I hope you
enjoy!....In friendship we think we have chosen
our peers. In reality a few years' difference in
the dates of our birth, a few more miles between
certain houses, a choice of one university instead
of another . . . the accident of a topic being
raised or not raised at a first meeting - any of
these chances might have kept us apart. But, for a
Christian, there are, strictly speaking, no
chances. A secret master of ceremonies has *Email
Blocked*, who said to the disciples, 'You have not
chosen me, but I have chosen you,' can truly be
said to every group of Christian friends, 'You
have not chosen one another, but I have chosen you
for one another.' The friendship is not a reward
for our discrimination and good taste in finding
one another out. It is the instrument by which God
reveals to each the beauty of others.

A Missionary's Testimony
The following event took place in a ward in Salt
Lake City in 1974. It occurred during a sacrament
meeting and was told to me by Regional
Representative of the Twelve who was in the
meeting. A young man, just before leaving on his
mission stood in sacrament meeting and bore in
essence the following testimony:
Brothers and sisters, as you know, the past two
weeks I’ve been waiting for a mission call.
During the time I was waiting I had a dream. I
knew it was not an ordinary dream. I dreamed I was
in the pre-existence and awaiting my call to come
to earth. I was filled with the same anticipation
and excitement that I had before I received my
mission call. In my dream I was talking to a
friend, and I felt a special closeness to him,
even though I’ve never met him in this life. As
we talked a messenger came and gave me a letter. I
knew it was my call to go to earth. In great
excitement my friend and I opened the letter. I
gave it to him and asked him to read it aloud. It
said:
“You’ve been called to earth in a special time
and to a special land. You will be born to the
true church and you will have the priesthood of
God in your home. You will be born into a land of
plenty, in a land of freedom. You will go to earth
in the United States of America.” My friend and
I rejoiced as we read my call, and while we were
rejoicing the messenger returned. This time he had
a letter for my friend. We knew it was his call to
earth. My friend gave me the letter to read out
loud. His letter said:
“You’ve been called to go to earth in
circumstances of poverty and strife. You will not
be raised in the true church. Many hardships will
attend your life. Your land will be fraught with
political and social difficulties – which will
hinder the work of the Lord. You will be born in
Costa Rica.” We wept, my friend and I, as we
read his call. And my friend looked at me with
tears in his eyes, and said, “When we are down
on earth, you in your choice land and me in Costa
Rica, my friend, please come and find me.” Then
this young missionary, with tears in his eyes,
said, “Brothers and Sisters, I have received my
mission call. I am going to Costa Rica.” There
is a sequel to the story. About a year after the
sacrament meeting, the bishop received a letter
from the missionary in Costa Rica. The letter had
one sheet of paper in it and on that sheet written
in capital letters were four words: I FOUND MY
FRIEND
