I have a good sense of humor, intelligent, caring, young at heart, a lot of love to give, loyal friend, and faithful. On the "Long Scientific Personality Test", I am rated INFP - Idealists - the Healer. "Idealists are relatively rare, making up no more than 15 to 20 percent of the population. But their ability to inspire people with their enthusiasm and their idealism has given them influence far beyond their numbers." Healers make up about 1% of the population.

I am called a convert but all my life I was searching for this church. I had a set of beliefs that were not compatible with the several churches I attended. Then the missionaries came to my door one day and we talked, they came back, and all the pieces started coming together. The missionaries were amazed that I knew the answers to many of their questions. Frankly, so was I.

Looking for LDS man who is active in church, has regular scripture study and prayer times, loves animals or at least tolerates them (I have one spayed, female dog), relatively healthy, active and able bodied, clean shaven. It is only fair that if I post my mug shot on here, you should too. So please don't hide behind a silhouette or a beard.

My life is spent in service to others. I am on the board (officer) of two NFP's and one professional group. Webmaster for two of these groups. I work from home for an M.D. and in the office occasionally.

I walk, no, my dog drags me, around the neighborhood for 1/2 hour as many days as possible weather permitting. This dog is the only pet I have.

My interests include travel, scripture study, attending church, community service, not necessarily in this order. I am open to new-to-me experiences as I know I have not been everywhere nor done everything. Who has? I will say "No" to things like sky diving, but if that is what you like to do, go ahead.

I watch very little TV and rarely go to a movie although I watch DVD's at home, work and play on the computer a lot. I am looking forward to traveling around in a good motor home.

I wear makeup occasionally, and I clean up real good. lol

I like to fish inland lakes and rivers. Bass fishing on deep lakes is one of my favorite things to do, but no fishing buddy to go with. Used to be good with a jig and eel. Like crappie fishing also. I occasionally fish for cat on the Mississippi. I keep the carp and buffalo, too.

Family get-togethers for cards is fun. We play spades, pinochle, cribbage, a few simple dice games, joke and laugh. Have 2 grown boys and their families. I can play canasta, but watch out, because I play dirty canasta.
