First of all NOBODY believes that I am 49.....I am a very active, high energy person who is very versatile and can have a great time doing almost anything! I doubt I have been bored since the age of 5, if ever. My last serious boyfriend was 10 years younger than I am, couldn't keep up with me, and everyone thought I was younger than he was!

I am ultra-friendly, and enjoy social events. I am a bit of a daredevil, love adventure and traveling, and lived in Chile for many years. I speak fluent Spanish as well as some French and am simply passionate about life!

My children and my friends are the most important part of my life. My greatest mission in life was to be a mother, which is why I became a teacher, so I could teach my children while they were very young and then be with them as much as possible after they started school. I am crazy about children, and my friends say I am like Mary Poppins!

I also have a very compassionate heart and I have spent my life nurturing others. My heart goes out easliy and quickly to others, as I always look for the best in everyone.

I hope to find someone who is versatile, intelligent, fun-loving, open-minded, kind, athletic, affectionate, unselfish, confident, happy and honest. I think it is important for partners to have their own interests, but also have some common interests. Lasting love should also include true friendship, but I never underestimate the power of physical attraction and passion!! I do not play games and don't want to be with anyone who does.

I am sort of a cross between a glamour girl and a tom-boy. I love to play and watch sports, work out, go to movies, read, sew, listen to music, sing Karaoke, enjoy the performing arts, ballet, symphony, theatre, etc.

My father taught me to play many sports as a child, and have continued throughout my life. I swam competitively growing up, and taught swimming lessons for the Parks and Recreation Department for many summers. I have enjoyed playing on softball teams, volleyball teams & basketball teams. I began cycling pretty seriously when I lived in Chile and still enjoy it, as well as regular hiking on many trails around Arizona. The weather is nearly always perfect for outdoor activities and I try to take advantage of it as often as possible.

I LOVE to cook and entertain.. especially ethnic foods. I think it would be fun to create amazing cuisine together, and I am just as happy staying home watching a great movie and cuddling on the couch as I am going out. I think it is important to have a balance, and more importantly, to just embrace whatever opportunity comes your way!
