I am a fun, spontaneous girl who loves to sing, dance, play the piano/violin, and be around kids. Especially little kids (meaning about 8 and under). I like to be outside, as long as it's not cold. I love hiking, fishing and camping and spending time with my wonderful family. That family includes my roommates who are my family away from home. I enjoy a good, intense game of pounce (aka nertz) and rats. Actually, I just like playing games with a bunch of people. It helps you get to know them better. It can also bring out sides of them that you might never see otherwise. Some people tell me that I'm shy, or else just really quiet. I like to think that it's more of the just really quiet part, but I am not a quiet person. Once you get to know me, I might never stop talking. My friends and I are always doing some wierd or stupid thing that's worth laughing at. In fact, we tend to spend about 10 minutes laughing about what went on during the day before we manage to actually start our scripture study each night. (It's kinda late right now so if none of this makes sense, please forgive me!) My family says that I'm the peacemaker. I hate it when there's contention; even when I seem to be making the contention I don't like it. Also, in my picture, my hair looks like it is not brown. Well, that's because in the picture, it isn't brown. I dyed my hair a while back and now it is brown. But I don't have a picture since I've dyed it.

I enjoy playing the piano and my violin. These are both stress relievers for me, and being a college student, it's a good thing I have a way to relieve my stress. There seems to be a lot of it lately. I love to read and to be outside. I also love to be around kids. I am an early childhood education major and I want to teach preschool someday. Or maybe run a daycare. Just something to do with little kids. I'm often told that I'm still a little kids at heart and that that's why I enjoy being around them. Most of the time I think that's probably true. :) I love to sing and I am a member of the institute choir on my campus and I also tech for the institute show choir. I love the feeling that comes from a large group of people getting together, voluntarily, to sing the hymns. It is absolutely amazing.
