Hi there. So. Online dating. Wow. I'm still trying to decide if this is the right place for me. I like the IDEA of dating, but I think the reality of it is still freaking me out a little. But I'd love to make some new friends.

My husband passed away over two years ago. We were very happily married for ten years - he was my best friend. I miss that. I miss having someone to laugh and share with. I would especially like to talk to other LDS singles who have also lost a spouse.

I have three very young, sweet, brilliant children and they are my first priority. I hate drama. (Seriously, I REALLY hate it. Life's too short to waste being negative. I think happiness is a choice, and I gladly choose it.) I'm very open and honest. I don't like mean people. I like to think I have a good sense of humor and I'm very easy-going.

I'm very musical - I sing and play the piano. I love to read. I'm a published writer, and I'm financially independent. I'm absolutely hopeless at group sports, but I do like to rollerblade, swim, ski and walk. I watch WAY too much Top Chef and Project Runway and I'm a little bit in love with Jim from The Office.
