You know, this is always the awkward part. it usually goes like this..... ::announcer voice:: "And now brethren for the thing you've all been waiting for! A sister who fits your exact needs! A sister who will always be loyal to you no matter what!" You get the gist of it right? I'm not going to attempt to paint myself as something I'm not. To make it plain and simple, I'm who I appear to be. I have my good, bad and ugly days, but they're usually good with plenty of smiles to go round.

Meanwhile, I've got a mean recipe for Oatmeal Chocolate Chip cookies, which like most fortunate recipes in any book is a recipe improved unawares due to lack of particular ingredients. That, by and large, is one of the foremost reasons why I love to cook. I get to play around with all of the minor ingredients. ::waggling eyebrows:: If you don't believe me, ask my former pseudo-roomies from Provo. Well this is an entirely different matter! This is something that I can sink teeth into and not have to worry about becoming a braggart! I'm an english major with a creative writing emphasis. I can usually get into a sports game as an "active viewer" as I'm usually working sports events. I've learned to like even minor league hockey! Minus the fist fights that is. I'm interested in music (I LOVE the nostalgia era like Bing Crosby, Benny Goodman, Frank Sinatra...), whether listening or participating in some manner. What LDS girl isn't into scrapbooking? I'm currently working on archiving my mission. I am also an avid bookworm and 'closet librarian.' All thats needed to prove that is give me a genre, the type of author you like in it and I can list off several similar authors. Not really something to crow about, but it's really helpful when you need to write a research paper!

As to matters outside of the library, I am a major fan of cooking, if you hadn't all ready deduced the fact. You give it to me, I can find a way to cook it. Especially when it comes to sweets like cookies and quick breads.... or anything else sweet.

I am also sort of an on-call nanny from time to time for the siblings I have who are married. I've nannied for all but four of my nieces and nephews. It doesn't matter that they live on the other side of the state. I enjoy their company. ::grin:: Its always grins, giggles and kool-aid when I come around. kids are the best.

Now then, this is where it gets interesting. I can quote movies (and some songs) almost completely. I've also gained the reputation of being a source of "Information, please" when there are things that some people are more curious than they really ought to be.... or just when they'd like to have an inside line. But there I usually exercise what is commonly known in the world of law as client\attorney priveliege. I don't reveal my sources to anyone, unless I've been given explicit permission.
