Hi. My name is Rebecca. I am a loving person who is not critical, clingy or controlling. I am kind hearted, compassionate, spiritual and artistic. I love God, myself, the earth, the gospel, my family and my freinds.

These pictures are about ten years old so I was only 990 years old then. LOL I still look younger than my age. I'm still quite spry too. I really do plan to put some recent pictures on. Just haven't gotten around to
it.

I am not really 1000 {duh} LOL but I feel like I have lived that long because the Lord has blessed me with many trials to learn from. I still have a long way to go but whatever wisdom I have gained is because of the Lord's tender mercy on me.

If my age matters to you just ask and I will tell you.....at least I might admit to being over 30. LOL

I have been waiting a long time for you to find me.....Where are you?

I think about you and pray about you alot. I wonder who you are and where you are and what you are feeling. Are you happy or sad? Are you lonely like me? Do you think about me and wonder about me too?

Have you suffered the pain of losing a wife either through divorce or death? If you had a good relationship with her and still love her in your heart I have no problem with that as long as you have room in your heart for me also. I would not be jealous of her memory as long as you have moved past it and are ready to love again. I would be glad to know that you have the ability to love sincerely. That is very important to me. Love is very important to me. It is the greatest commandment. It is what the Savior taught. It is the reason He suffered and died and was resurrected.

Are you online? Will you read these words and recognise me through them or will we meet another way? I have a strong spiritual feeling that we are meant to meet soon. I'm not sure how but I believe we will know that we are meant for each other when we meet or at least after we get to know each other. Ive been attending singles activities for years and you just weren't there or if you were we just haven't met yet. I know this because I have not felt that feeling yet---of familiarity---- of knowing it is you. I have to feel that this time because I have made painful mistakes in the past. I just can't go through that again.
So I will wait until I know it is you this time. I'll have to have that confirmation from the spirit.

Don't worry, I am not bitter or full of baggage. Even though I have had some painful experiences with abusive men I believe that I needed those experiences to refine me and make me into a better person. I am grateful for my trials for that reason. And I forgive those that have hurt me. I know that they are learning from their mistakes.

But I have also learned to respect myself enough to never allow any one to abuse me ever again.

The one I am looking for would be very loving, kind, patient, unselfish, spiritual and gentle but strong. He would be somewhat of a knight in shining armor type---ready to fight for my honor and he would very much want to protect me from any more pain and abuse.


I believe our spirits have loved each other for a long time and they will recognise each other. I want to wrap my arms around you and love you for the rest of eternity.

I love hiking, especially through the pines with the sound of a creek babbling and the whisper of a breeze in the air.

I love the sea in all of its moods, especially with the deep, gorgeous colors of the setting sun rippling over its surface. It is one of my favorite things to paint. I love squishing sand between my toes and building sand castles and looking for seashells and starfish. I love to wake up to the sound of the waves lapping up onto shore and the beautiful sound of seagulls calling to each other in the morning air. I love to watch the tiny little sandpipers running back and forth with the waves on the sand.

I love the sound of birds and the smell of campfires. I love a star filled sky. I love sunshine and the feel of it warm on my skin. I love the feel of leaves crunching under my feet in the Autumn and pumpkin pie. And I love apple pie even more, especially my homeade apple pie. Yum!
I love snow and Christmas and the smell of cinnomen. I love smiles and hugs, the sound of children happy at play and animals. I love reading a good book that is hard to put down.

I love relaxing and cuddling with someone special and sipping a cup of warm postum or hot chocolate....watching a good movie. I love going for walks and riding a really good mountain bike and swimming.

I like to bake. I like to be creative in my cooking. I like making up my own recipes or adding my own style to the recipes I have. And I like to collect new recipes and try new things. I love Mexican food. I like making things homemade, the old fashioned way. I love the smell of bread and cinnomen rolls and apple pie baking in the oven. I like inviting my friends over for dinner.

I love home and making it feel cozy, warm, inviting and a happy place to be. I like people in my home to feel well fed physically, spiritually and emotionally.

I love holidays, especially Christmas. I love giving presents even more than getting them. I love to see the smiles of delight when someone opens a present that really connects with them personally.

I love temple work and would like to serve a temple mission some day.

I love to travel and want to see as much of the world as I can---and photograph and paint it.
I would also love to go on a temple tour and see as many temples as possible.

Something that I have done that I think is really cool was going ice fishing in Wisconsin when it was 40 below.

Some things I've never done that I would like to do are: Go to Hawaii, take a hot air balloon ride, ride in a helicopter, go snorkeling and go horseback riding by the ocean in the moonlight.
