I am a new convert to the church, and the first to join in my family. I have been a member for less than two years. I love the church and will bear my testimony (small as it is... so far) to anyone willing to listen. Someone at my work introduced me to the church; she is now my best friend. I am shy with new people, but loyal to the ones I know and love.

I work at a recreation center and love being around kids. I attend a family ward instead of a singles ward because I like being around all the children. I have a calling in primary, and although the kids have all been members longer than I have, that doesn't stop us from having fun and learning together.

Now I am just looking for a companion who shares the same faith as me. None of my friends my age are LDS and don't exactly understand my decision to join the church. I'm looking for someone who already is a member and will help me to grow stronger in my understanding of it and help me build testimony of the important things. This is all still new to me, but at the same time also very exciting.

I love to read anything I can get my hands on. Novels are great, but since I was introduced to the church I've felt the need to catch up on my understanding of it. Please let me know if you have any reccommendations to help me with this.

I'd take photographs every day of my life if I could, but for now only consider it a hobby.
